EnLock values your privacy. We have prepared this Privacy Policy to explain how we collect, use, protect, and disclose information and data when you use the EnLock website located at https://www.enlock.io and EnLock mobile applications (“Site”) or EnLock services (“Services”).
This Privacy Policy also explains your choices for managing your information preferences, including opting out of certain uses of your Personal Information (as defined below). The Policy applies to all EnLock services and any associated services (referred to as the ‘EnLock’). The terms governing your use of the EnLock Service are defined in our Terms of service (the “Terms and Conditions”). What Personal Data Do We Collect?

– Personal data about you upon registration – You will be asked to provide your email address to create an account.
– Personal data that you choose to provide us to obtain additional Services or specific online Services – If you request to buy an optional feature, or request premium Services or other elective functionality, we may collect additional information from you.

Personal data as you use our app or services
– We will collect information about you as you use the app or Service, such as your IP address, app version, operating system and device information.
– We collect information about purchases you’ve made through our app or Services, such as product type, subscription type, date of purchase, etc.

– Personal Data from payment processors: we will collect information about you from payment providers when you purchase products offered on the app or Service. Information varies per payment providers but might include: your IP address, country, email, post code, name, last four digits of your card, UPI details and phone number.

We are legally obligated to secure your consent to allow us to store your card details or UPI details for future use. As per our policy, we cannot process your payment before you agree to such storing.

We may collect additional information from or about you when you communicate with us, contact our customer support teams, or respond to a survey.
Why Do We Retain Personal Data?
We retain personal data in an identifiable format for the least time necessary to fulfill our legal or regulatory obligations and business purposes. We may retain personal data for longer periods than the law requires if it is in our legitimate business interests and not prohibited by law. If your account is closed, we may take steps to mask personal data and other information, but we reserve our ability to retain and access the data for as long as required to comply with applicable laws. To operate the apps and provide the services, including:
- Initiate payments for paid services.
- Authenticate your access to the account.
- Communicate with you about your account via customer support.
- Create an account connection between your account and a third-party account or platform for storing your files.
- Store multi-encrypted data to a third-party account or platform.
For our legitimate interests, including:
- Enforce the terms of our app and services;

- To manage our business needs, such as monitoring, analyzing, and improving the services and the apps’ performance and functionality.

- To comply with our obligations and to enforce the terms of our app and services, including to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

- To market you by delivering marketing materials about EnLock products and online services. We may also process your data to tailor certain services or app experiences to better match our understanding of your interests.
- To respond to your requests, for example, to contact you about a question you submitted to our customer service team

Do We Share Personal Or Your Files Data?
We may share your data or other information about you with others in a variety of ways as described in this section of the privacy policy. We may share your data or other information for the following reasons:
- With payment providers to initialize a payment process – personal data is necessary to facilitate the transaction;
- With third-party services monitoring the proper functioning of the service – Anonymous data and performance analytics help us enhance Users’ experiences.
We may share information about you with other parties for EnLock business purposes or as permitted or required by law, including:
- If we need to do so to comply with a law, legal process, or regulations.

- To help assess and manage risk and prevent fraud against us, our users, and fraud involving our apps or use of our services, including fraud that occurs at or involves our business partners, strategic ventures, or other individuals, and merchants.
- To companies that we plan to merge with or be acquired by or to partner with to store data.
- To support our audit, compliance, and corporate governance functions.
- Share your data with advertising and analytical companies to deliver information relevant to you about new features and offers.
Profile Information You Make Available to Others:
- By using the app or the services you may make certain of your information or data available to others. For example, your email address will be visible when you share a file or a folder with another user of the app or services. You should therefore ensure that any person whom you share a file or folder with is someone whom you are happy to share your email address with.
We do not share your Personal Data with third parties for their marketing purposes.
Selling data to third parties
We do not, have not, and do not have any plans to sell your personal information to third parties.
Do we process special categories of personal data?
EnLock does not process any personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, and the processing of genetic data, biometric data for the purpose of uniquely identifying a natural person, data concerning health or data concerning a natural person’s sex life or sexual orientation.

The right to rectification
If you believe we have the wrong data about you, or that your data is incomplete, feel free to change it at any time through your Account settings.
The right to erasure
You can delete your files and personal information by signing in to your EnLock account and going to your account settings or by contacting us at support@enlock.io. If you delete your EnLock account, your files and personal data will be permanently removed from our servers after 30 days.
The right to data portability
Contact us at support@enlock.io to request a copy of the data we store about you. Once it is ready, you will receive the file via email.

The right to appeal automated decisions and profiling We may make an automated decision to block a user, in case we suspect this user is using our services for illegal acts or acts that violate our terms of use. If you believe that your account was unlawfully blocked, you can contact our support team.
How do we protect your data?
We maintain technical, physical, and administrative security measures designed to provide reasonable protection for your Data against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, and alteration. The security measures include firewalls, multi-level data encryption, and information access authorization controls. While we are dedicated to securing our systems and Services, you are responsible for securing and maintaining the privacy of your password(s) and Account/profile registration information and verifying that the personal data we maintain about you is accurate and current. We are not responsible for protecting any personal data that we share with a third party based on an account connection that you have authorized.
In the unlikely event that a security breach which affects individuals’ rights and freedoms is discovered, according to our risk assessment policy, EnLock will inform those individuals without undue delay.
Can children use our services?
The Site and Services are intended for users who are 12 years old or older. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of 12. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received Personal Information from a child under the age of 12, we will delete such information from our records.
Updates or changes in processing
Suppose we wish to use your personal data for a new purpose, not covered by this Privacy Policy. In that case, we will provide you with a new notice explaining this new use prior to commencing the processing and setting out the relevant purposes and processing conditions. We will seek your consent to the new processing where and whenever necessary.
